TDM WAVE Audits

How to Perform WAVE Audits

  1. Download the WAVE extension for your browser
  2. If you are checking desktop experience skip step 3
  3. Adjust screen size to mobile (use dev tools, or adjust browser size)
  4. Navigate to the page you want to run the extension on
  5. Run the WAVE browser extension
    • "To run a WAVE report, simply click on the WAVE icon to the right of your browser address bar, or select "WAVE this page" from the context menu."
  6. See the results from the Summary page and Details pane

  7. Sometimes icons will show up in the left panel but not in the main panel that display your page because the element is hidden from the viewer. Turning Styles off will allow you to see where they appear.
